HOW TO MEDITATE ON UNDERWATER ZEN VIDEO The best way to do meditation on the underwater zen video is while sitting fairly close to your TV or in front of a computer screen, tablet or a phone. There are two different ways to meditate on the zen video: wide focus and narrow focus. ‘WIDE FOCUS’ MEDITATION Focus on the entire picture and do not try to to name and evaluate everything – «Wow, look at that beautiful coral or fish. What kind is it?» When these kinds of thoughts come up, let them go. Simply experience the colors and shape of corals, fishes, other underwater animals, their movements and sounds of music, or whatever else you are experiencing. Let it be an experience without meaning and without reference to any other experience. Experience the entire seascape with an open awareness, as if you’d never seen anything like it before. When the mind wanders and becomes caught up in thought, simply bring it back to the experience of underwater seascape. ‘NARROW FOCUS’ MEDITATION Alternatively, you could focus on a specific fish, animal or a coral, and pay full attention to all its details and movements.
